Kasma Daniel Show Improvement After Nine Race
Remy Gardner has finished sixteenth at the Gran Premi Monster Energy de Catalunya suffering problems with the grip on the rear tyre and after having received a penalisation. Kasma Daniel has crossed the finish line in twentieth position.
Remy Gardner has started the race from the sixteenth position of the starting grid, in spite of having qualified tenth, he received a penalty after an incident occurred during the FP2 where he crashed when the yellow flag was being waved. The Australian rider had a good rhythm to compete in the top 10 of the Grand Prix of Catalunya. He suffered grip issues with the rear tyre and he received a penalty for exceeding the track limits six laps before the end of the race which hasn’t allowed him to finish in a better position. Gardner has finished seventeenth and he sits P12 in the Moto2 World Championship Standings.

"It is a shame about the race today. We had a good pace all weekend but today we put a different tyre and it was like racing on ice. Hopefully we can bounce back in Le Mans and have better luck with the tyres because I think we could have made a top 10 finish today. We had bad luck this weekend but I would like to thank the team for the great job they have done. I am already looking forward for the next race!"
In the other side of the garage, Kasma Daniel hasn’t felt comfortable riding his kalex today. He started the race from the ninth row of the grid. The Malaysian rider of the ONEXOX TKKR SAG TEAM has made a really good start being able to gain nine positions but a small mistake has made him lose some positions. The number 99 has finished the ninth race of the season in twentieth position.

"I am happy because I finished the race with a very good fight. I have performed a great start and I have gone from p27 to 18th. Unfortunately, I have made a small mistake because I could not break and make the bike stop so I have lost my position. From that moment, I have focused on keeping my rhythm lap after lap. Towards the end of the race, I have started feeling pain on my arm but I managed to finish the race. Overall, it has been a good weekend."
The next race of the Moto2 World Championship will take place at the Le Mans circuit on October 11th.
