Zulfahmi Khairuddin, Team manager SIC Racing still believe all his rider to perform well even curious what happen to Damok in the pit box and Adam seem not very good at hard tire.
“I would like to thank my team who has been working really hard from the test until now. It has been a tough weekend to be honest. In QP1 we have some issues with the bike and I finished in P8. In QP2 we fixed some of the issues and finished in P3. I'm content with my performance and what's important is I improved my lap time from last year and also in our test. I'm positive for tomorrow's race but we still need to keep working on my hard tire. There's many room for improvements and we have to keep focus on the race tomorrow." said Adam
Damok realize that weather give him big impact to stay focus and sustain the rhythm. But he will find good setup during warm up this evening (Malaysia time).
“In the morning the weather was good but the track was wet. I got a good wet setup in the morning but after a few laps the track went dry. We changed the bike setup to a dry setup and focus on my rhythm. In QP2, I struggled in the first exit and also the bike. But after discussing with my crew chief we have some things to improve and I look forward to for tomorrow's race." said Damok
Juan feel a bit disappointed after cannot bit Friday lap time. Grid position for Sharul Ezwan might be change and level up due to some of rider get penalty but the decision not come out yet or now he will remain at P12.
“In today's QP I was happy with my overall performance. Most important is I did not crash. In QP1 I finished in P6 but I was a bit disappointed that I did not beat yesterday's lap time. In QP2, the weather was hot and I changed my strategy to go out alone to improve my self confidence. In the final 3 laps I got inside a group and improved my lap time. I'm not quite certain about the grid positions for tomorrow as there are some riders who will get penalty. From what I know, I am in P7 in the combined qualifying for Group B. But in whatever position I will start tomorrow, I will give my very best in the race," said Juan
